Texas Plaintiff Asserts Former iBASIS Patents Against Software-Based Network Infrastructure Solution

In an Eastern District of Texas complaint, Session Link Research LLC has targeted Samsung (2:26-cv-00425) over the provision of its Cloud-Native 5G Core solution. The plaintiff asserts four telecommunications patents, apparently received from iBASIS, generally related to call handling, teleconferencing, and more. The plaintiff pleads ownership of the patents; publicly available USPTO records have yet to reflect a transfer away from iBASIS.
