“Additional Work Was Needed to Ensure the Infringement Theories Were Framed Correctly”

Equinix (1:26-cv-02903) has filed a Northern District of Georgia complaint against DataSphere, LLC, an IP Investments Group LLC (d/b/a IPinvestments Group) entity. It seeks judgments of invalidity and noninfringement of the four patents that DataSphere asserted against it in an Eastern District of Texas complaint filed this past January. DataSphere dismissed that case without prejudice about two weeks after filing an amended complaint that mooted Equinix’s motion to dismiss. That motion took aim at DataSphere’s alleged failure to adequately plead divided infringement.
