SIM IP Gears Up for Additional Assertion Campaigns

On August 6, 2025, PowerBridge Networks LLC assigned to “SIM IP 1 LLC” two patents issuing to MeshNetworks. The transfer was recorded with the USPTO on May 22, 2026. After the assignment, SIM IP 1 LLC converted from a Delaware entity to a Texas one, as part of the larger migration of new monetization firm SIM IP to the latter state, SIM IP 1 changing its name to PowerBridge IP Protection LLC this past September. To date, SIM IP has launched two litigation campaigns—with more clearly in the works.
