Enhanced Data Streaming Joins the List of Plaintiffs to Litigate Former Orckit Patents

This past August, RPX noted the March 2025 transfer of 11 US patents from Orckit IP LLC to Enhanced Data Streaming LLC. That recipient has now filed suit, accusing Cisco (2:25-cv-01038) in an Eastern District of Texas complaint of infringing five of the transacted patents through the provision of certain routers and switches. Enhanced Data Streaming is one of a string of plaintiffs to acquire former Orckit-Corrigent patents for assertion against networking equipment providers, frequently including Cisco.
