Light Guide Targets More “Televisions and Displays”

Light Guide Innovations LLC has filed an Eastern District of Texas complaint against Samsung (2:25-cv-01093). In it, the plaintiff alleges infringement of 16 patents from a portfolio of former Suzhou Lekin Semiconductor Co. Ltd. (d/b/a LEKIN) assets. Per the complaint, the patents-in-suit generally concern “LED lighting and image enhancement for televisions and displays”, which generic terms are repeatedly used to “define” the accused products in the case. The monetization team behind this case has filed several others against Samsung over the past several weeks and most recently the day before this one.
