ETRI Exclusive Licensee Sues Amazon in West Texas

OptimNet LLC has filed a Western District of Texas complaint against Amazon (Amazon Web Services) (7:25-cv-00532), targeting the provision of cloud services, including Amazon CloudFront, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon CloudWatch X-Ray (with Insights), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (“EC2”), Amazon Simple Storage Service (“S3”), and AWS Nitro System. It has done so as the exclusive licensee of the four asserted patents, which are held by Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI).
