Virginia-Based Cybersecurity Company Turns to Litigation
December 12, 2025
Inventor-backed StealthPath IP Inc. has filed separate Eastern District of Texas complaints against Fortinet (2:25-cv-01195) and Zscaler (2:25-cv-01196). The plaintiff targets—with three patents broadly directed to managing the authorization of network communications in a “hypervisor”—the provision of certain cybersecurity products; for Fortinet, over products supporting “Secure SD-WAN”, including certain FortiGate and Forti-WiFi-series products; and for Zscaler, over the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform.
