Bison Patent Licensing Targets Even Broader Range of Accused Products in Second Suit

Bison Patent Licensing, LLC (BPL) filed its first suit, against Samsung, in the Eastern District of Texas this past April. The case was dismissed with prejudice in August 2025 after an earlier noticed settlement. Now, in a new suit in the same district, BPL accuses LG Electronics (LGE) (2:25-cv-01206) of infringing an overlapping set of patents received from CommScope, through the provision of a wide variety of products, including private networks, smart TVs, smartphones, and streaming services.
