Spangenberg’s SIM IP Merges with Company Offering “AI-Driven” Analytics for Patent Monetization

Earlier this month, Sauvegarder Investment Management, Inc. (d/b/a SIM IP), an IP investment and monetization firm led by CEO Erich Spangenberg, announced that it had closed a merger with Garden Intel, described as a “pioneer of AI-driven patent intelligence”. The combined company revealed plans to use Garden Intel’s solutions, which use “reasoning models” to perform “accurate portfolio valuation and infringement detection at scale”, to more efficiently monetize large patent portfolios.
