As ITC Launches Investigation as to KIOXIA and SK Hynix, MonolithIC 3D Sues NIVIDIA
A majority of its district court cases stayed pending the outcome of its action before the International Trade Commission (ITC), inventor-controlled MonolithIC 3D Inc. has now sued NVIDIA (7:26-cv-00115) in the Western District of Texas. The plaintiff asserts six patents broadly directed to semiconductor memory fabrication, with NVIDIA accused of infringement through the provision of “graphical processing units, SoCs, and processors” that include High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products. The exemplary accused products include the GH100 and GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips, which are alleged to incorporate the SK Hynix H5UG7HME03X020R DRAM module.
