Wyoming Technology Licensing Launches an Automotive Campaign

April 3, 2026

Earlier this year, an inventor-controlled entity assigned a family of nine patents generally related to an automatic signaling system for a vehicle to Wyoming Technology Licensing, LLC (WTL). The recipient has now launched litigation, suing GM (1:26-cv-00810) in the Western District of Texas and Toyota (2:26-cv-00268) in the Eastern District of Texas. Infringement allegations focus on the provision of lane change assistance services in GM vehicles that incorporate the Super Cruise driver assistance system and in Toyota vehicles that incorporate the Lexus Safety System+ or Teammate system.
